Acceptable Use Policy

Why this exists

Every generation you run goes through our accounts at Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and others. If content generated here violates their policies, those providers act against our account — which takes the Studio down for everyone, not just the person responsible. That is the reason this policy has teeth.

Do not use MediaWriter to

• Create anything unlawful, or promote goods or services you may not lawfully sell.
• Deceive people: fabricated testimonials, invented statistics, fake endorsements, or claims you cannot substantiate.
• Impersonate a real person or organisation, or generate a person’s likeness or voice without their permission.
• Make guaranteed-return, medical, or income claims you cannot support, or otherwise breach advertising rules that apply to regulated categories.
• Produce sexual content involving minors, content sexualising real people without consent, or material that harasses or incites violence against a person or group.
• Upload content you do not have the rights to, or use the Studio to launder someone else’s copyrighted material.
• Attack the service: probing other customers’ workspaces, circumventing limits, scraping at scale, or reselling access.

Regulated advertising

MediaWriter is built for direct-response marketing, including financial offers. Those categories carry rules from regulators and from the ad platforms themselves. The compliance features are a pre-flight check, not approval — you remain responsible for what you publish and for clearing it with your own counsel.

Enforcement

We may suspend or close an account that breaches this policy, and we may do so immediately where a provider relationship or another customer is at risk. Where circumstances allow we will tell you what happened and give you the chance to put it right.

Reporting abuse

To report content generated with MediaWriter that breaches this policy, write to [email protected] with the details and any URLs. We investigate every report.

Copyright complaints

If you believe material created or hosted here infringes your copyright, send a notice to [[email protected] — also register the agent with the US Copyright Office] including:

• Identification of the work you say has been infringed.
• Where the infringing material is, in enough detail for us to find it.
• Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We remove or disable material in response to valid notices and may close the accounts of repeat infringers. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address.
